TRUPCR® HIV Viral Load Kit is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification assay for the detection and quantification of Human Immunodeficiency type-1 (HIV-1) viral RNA in human serum or plasma (EDTA) from HIV infected individual specimens using Real Time PCR System. TRUPCR® HIV Viral Load Kit is based on amplification of two conserved regions by primer and probes specific for HIV type-1 gag gene and pol gene.
In this kit there are three independent reactions running in parallel in the same tube: the first two detects HIV in FAM/Green channel and third detects endogenous internal control (IC) DNA in Texas Red/ROX/Orange channel which allows excluding unreliable results.
