3B BlackBio Biotech India Limited is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 'Award of Excellence' for 'TRUPCR SARS-COV-2 RT qPCR Kit' under the category of 'Leading IVD Company of the year' in the 'elets Diagnostics Leadership Summit' held 'during 19-20th February 2021'. "This is an achievement for the whole 3B Team who worked relentlessly and supported the whole nation in the hour of national need during the COVID-19 Pandemic", said Mr. Dhirendra Dubey - Managing Director - 3B BlackBio Biotech India Limited.
By proactively acting on the need of the situation, our team started to work early on the development of our Real-Time PCR Test Kit for detection of SARS-CoV-2.
On 2nd April 2020, ICMR-NIV, Pune completed validation & ICMR, Delhi approved our kit. And on 4th April, 2020, CDSCO issued the license to manufacture & sell “TRUPCR® SARS-CoV-2 RT qPCR Kit”. Despite the teething challenges in raw material procurement, production scale-up and tough logistics conditions during lock down, we have supplied more than 6.0 million tests to more than 400 labs across India including Government of India Institutes, ICMR Labs and Private Labs. And with each passing day, this number is increasing. On 19th June 2020, we became the first ever Indian molecular diagnostics company to receive US FDA (EUA) for our “TRUPCR® SARS-CoV-2 RT qPCR Kit – 2 Tube Assay”. And on 17th December, 2020, the kit has been EUA approved by USFDA for testing on saliva specimen as well. Our kits have been validated extensively on various platforms. The test comes with robust endogenous internal controls making it one of the most reliable tests currently available in the market. In-line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s “Make in India” initiative, all our kits are developed and validated to International standards & Reference material.
