The TRUPCR® CT/NG Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is an in vitro diagnostic test, based on real-time PCR technology, for the qualitative detection of Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG) in clinical samples.This Kit is based on amplification of conserved region of the bacterial genome. In this kit there is a multiplexing reactions running in parallel in single tubes: the first detects Chlamydia trachomatis in FAM channel, second detects Neisseria gonorrhoeae in HEX channel and third detects Internal Control (IC) DNA in TexRed channel which allows excluding unreliable results.
