Gastrointestinal Panel 1 kit is a single tube multiplexed Real-time PCR kit for the qualitative detection of diarrhoea causing Salmonella, Shigella, Campylobacter and Verotoxin (VTEC) producing E.coli in clinical samples. The assay is based on the Taqman hydrolosis probe technology which allows a higher specificity and sensitivity. The targets are detected with the help of 4 different dyes including a 5th dye for the endogenous internal amplification control.
