TRUPCR® NPM1 Qualitative KIT

NPM1 Mutations Qualitative

The Nucleophosmin (NPM1) gene is one of the most commonly mutated genes in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), occurring in about 35% of AML patients at diagnosis and in approximately 60% of adult cytogenetically normal AML (CN-AML).
TRUPCR® NPM1 Qualitative Kit is an in-vitro nucleic acid amplification assay for the qualitative detection of mutation in NPM1 gene in peripheral blood samples. The detection is achieved using fluorescent probes.
TRUPCR® NPM1 Qualitative Kit is a two tube assay composed of primer probe mixture for the detection of the NPM1 mutation and a reference control gene.

Three types of NPM1 mutation variants detected by this kit are given below:

  • NPM1 mutation A (c.860_863dupTCTG),
  • NPM1 mutation B (c.863_864insCATG),
  • NPM1 mutation D (c.863_864insCCTG)

Key Features:

  •  TRUPCR® NPM1 Qualitative Kit allows initial diagnosis and stratifying high and low risk AML.
  •  Reliable and sensitive detection of NPM1 A, B and D mutations.
  •  The kit offers sensitivity to detect up to 1% mutant allele in background of 99% wild type allele.
  •  It is compatible with various Real Time PCR instruments.
  •  Easy-to-use, rapid, reliable, comprehensive and cost-effective tests.
