Test Overview
TRUPCR® Skin and Nail Fungus Panel Kit is a multiplex Real-Time PCR assay designed for the qualitative detection and identification of 17 clinically relevant fungal pathogens associated with skin and nail infections. The assay detects fungal DNA from nail clippings, nail scrapings, skin scrapings, and other superficial keratinized tissue specimens, enabling rapid and reliable identification of targeted fungal pathogens in a single workflow. An Internal Control (IC) is included in every reaction to monitor DNA extraction efficiency and identify the presence of PCR inhibitors, ensuring dependable results.
